What happened?

According to Reuters news dated September 29 OpenAI, “dots”.

These agents are intended to execute longer-term tasks by tracking user targets across applications. Reuters also reports that the product will increase competition in the enterprise AI market and that there were some technical problems in live demonstrations.

Why is it important for the content creator / daily user?

The important threshold in using AI is:

Ask a question → get answers,

give a target → let the job follow model.

If this happens, AI could become a long-term digital assistant rather than just a tool with which we chat.

But what's particularly important here is security: If you're letting an agent perform operations on a computer, it's critical to control what it can do and what operations it requests approval for.
