What happened?

Lion Battery Technologies uses platinum and palladium-based catalysts lithium-sulfur battery technology.

According to the company's statement, platinum group metal catalysts improved capacity and power performance in prototype cells tested by the Battery Innovation Center; Palladium-dominant formulations gave the strongest overall results. The technology is not yet at the commercial product stage and is being developed towards pilot production.
