Google on October 6 EmbeddingGemma 2.

Model according to Google DeepMind; text, images, audio and video into a common embedding area and is designed to work on the device. The company is positioning it specifically for search, classification, recommendation, and similarity-based applications.

Why is it important for the content creator / daily user?

Embedding sounds a bit technical, but its logic is actually very useful:
