What happened?

The aim of this approach is to use concrete-like structural material not only in building construction but also for energy storage. The research area is not yet at the level of daily consumer products, but it is notable for the idea of energy-storing building materials.

Why is it important for the content creator / daily user?

If this area progresses, in the future a building will only an energy-consuming structure, it can also become an energy-storing structure.

So walls, floors or building elements can become a part of the energy system.

But important note: This technology is not yet a commercial product at the “turn your home wall into a battery” level.
