Don't Delete Same Photos One by One on iPhone: Combine Duplicate Photos in a Few Taps

One of the biggest problems iPhone users encounter over time is the unnecessary growth of their photo archive.

How to combine duplicate photos?

When you find a pair or group:

1. Open the relevant repeating group.
2. Merge.
3. Then Merge [number] Items.

So you can reduce unnecessary copies of the same content.

What if the “Duplicates” section is not visible?

This is pretty important.

According to Apple's guidance, if there are no duplicate photos or videos recognized in the photo library Duplicates collection may not appear. So just because the menu does not appear does not mean that there is a problem.

Copying photos for use elsewhere
