MAC'S SPOTLIGHT IS NOT SUCH A THING! Manage Your Computer from the Keyboard with Raycast

Raycast has long been a quick launcher and productivity tool, especially among Mac users, but it has become much more widespread in 2026.

Raycast 2 is now on macOS and Windows is working.

It offers a single interface to open applications, find files, run commands, perform calculations, create shortcuts and use different plug-ins.

One of the most remarkable developments in 2026 AI Chat side. In the current structure of Raycast, when you give artificial intelligence a task, it can create a plan, use add-ons, write and run code, and try to continue the task by checking the result.

Also Screen Awareness feature, it can transfer the context of the open application or window to the AI chat; This reduces the number of situations where you have to manually copy and explain the content on the screen.

Raycast 2.6's September 30, 2026 update includes performance improvements and new Auto Model options also arrived.

What does it do?
It allows you to do many tasks with a few keys on the keyboard instead of constantly scrolling through menus on the computer. It is very practical, especially for those who use many applications on Mac.
