IF YOU ARE TOO LAZY TO READ THE WEBSITE, SHAKE YOUR PHONE! Firefox SUMS THIS UP

One of the notable features of Firefox's mobile application in 2026 Shake to Summarize.

You have entered a long web page.

Instead of getting lost among thousands of words, advertisements, headlines and paragraphs, you can create a summary of the page by shaking the phone.

According to Mozilla's May 2026 statement, the feature was expanded to Android in English, and additional languages such as German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Japanese began to be supported on the iOS side. Mozilla Blog

If iOS 26+ is used on an iPhone 15 Pro or newer device, summarization is performed on-device with Apple Intelligence; On other devices, text is sent securely to Mozilla's cloud-based AI system. Mozilla Blog

What does it do?

It helps you understand the main idea first in long news, blog or information pages.

Just a quick note: The AI summary should not be substituted for the source text. It is still best to check the original page, especially for important or technical information.
